Colorado Mental Health News is an independent online publication reporting on mental-health care across Colorado. We cover depression treatment, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), ketamine and esketamine (SPRAVATO) therapy, psychiatry, state policy and insurance, and research that affects people seeking care in the state.

Our reporting is built from primary sources: state agency filings and rulemaking, Colorado General Assembly records, FDA announcements, peer-reviewed journals, health-system and university releases, and direct contact with clinicians and organizations. Every story lists its sources at the end.

We do not accept payment for coverage. Stories are not sponsored. When an article mentions a clinic, practice, or product, that mention reflects editorial judgment about what is newsworthy, not a commercial arrangement.

Colorado Mental Health News is part of a small network of independent health-information sites under common ownership. The network includes consumer guides and review sites about depression treatment and psychiatry in Colorado. Those sites are linked in the footer. The newsroom operates separately from them; their content does not determine what we cover.

Nothing on this site is medical advice. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or go to the nearest emergency department.
